The 6 career fire fighters, of the International Association of Fire fighters - Local 2102, work a 24 hour on, 48 hour off, shift.
Corry has two fire stations with one duty driver working each station.
The drivers are responsible for fire alarm box maintenance, painting fire hydrants, and doing inspections. They operate a QRS unit to assist with more serious EMS calls along with the Corry Ambulance Service.
The operation of the engines and ladder truck are the sole responsibility of the career fire fighters.
